The 5.11 Tactical Waterproof Duty Rainshell Jacket is a lightweight waterproof layer for wet worksites, roadside tasks, travel and outdoor adventures. Its 2.5-layer polyester shell combines a DWR finish with a 10K/10K waterproof-breathable rating, helping keep rain out while allowing heat and moisture to escape.
Fully seam-sealed construction provides dependable weather protection without the bulk of a heavy coat. Quixip® side zips improve ventilation and make it easier to reach equipment worn at the waist, while the adjustable design works well over uniforms, workwear or hiking layers.

- 10K/10K Waterproof Breathable Fabric: 100% polyester plain weave 2.5-layer construction with DWR finish. Blocks rain and wind while allowing moisture vapour to escape during active use.
- Patented Quixip Side Seam System: 5.11's purpose-built duty access system allows unobstructed reach to your belt-mounted equipment while the jacket is on - no unzipping required.
- Fully Seam-Sealed Construction: Every seam is sealed to prevent moisture ingress across the full jacket, including under high-wear stress points.
- Two-Way Centre-Front Zipper with Storm Flap: Full-length two-way zip allows ventilation from the hem up, with an external storm flap preventing leakage at the zip line.
- Articulated Sleeves with Ergonomic Fit: Sleeve cut follows natural arm movement for unrestricted reach. No bunching or constriction when drawing, driving, or moving on the job.
- Tracking Hood Design: Stationary hood with shock cord adjustment turns with your head when you swivel - no blind spots, no repositioning mid-task. Laminated brim holds shape in rain.
- Adjustable Hem with Shock Cord System: Internal hem cord cinches down to seal out wind and rain at the base, with quick adjustment on the move.
- Hand Zipper Pockets: Two zippered hand pockets provide secure storage for essentials. Elastic sleeve cuffs seal the wrist without restricting movement.
